Kuveyt Türk Dijital Takvim
Mobile.

We designed and built the Kuveyt Türk Digital Calendar, the mobile version of the wall calendar the bank has printed for many years. Each day opens with the content of the day, today in history, a verse and a hadith, and the texts on the back of each printed day carry over to the app. Prayer times follow the user’s location with a countdown to the next one; the calendar shows standard and ezani time side by side and converts dates between the Gregorian, Hijri and Rumi calendars. The qibla finder, religious days and nights, the imsakiye and greeting cards sit one tap away. We anchored the visual language in Kuveyt Türk’s corporate identity with a restrained type system and a generous grid, so even a busy day reads at a glance. The app launched on iOS and Android in April 2021, in Turkish and English.
