Brief
In the Ülker Çıtırdat online game, available across both mobile and web, players compete head-to-head to "crunch" Ülker Çikolatalı Gofret as fast as possible. The fastest crunchers were rewarded with surprise prizes, and across all platforms more than four million users played the game in real-time matchmade duels — the project went on to win in three categories at the MIXX Awards. On the design side, the priority was to make a deliberately simple mechanic — tap the screen, eat the wafer — feel equally responsive on web and mobile. We backed it with a low-latency real-time matchmaking service so that two players genuinely shared the same second of action. Social sharing, leaderboards and reward flows brought Ülker’s young target audience back into the game daily, turning the brand’s classic wafer communication into a digital campaign that earned a fraction of the spend of a TV commercial while delivering category-leading engagement.
