We designed the HeyPungi app as a learning world that talks to children through both their ears and eyes, while staying safe enough for parents to hand over the device. Audio-and-picture books are grouped by age band, with animated characters and interactive pages letting kids drive the story through simple gestures, supported by professional narration and an original music score. Parents get a separate area to set screen-time limits, follow progress and review what their child is consuming inside a closed content library that carries no third-party ads. The visual system leans into child-friendly large touch targets, high-contrast colours and playful micro-animations, while a no-code editor panel lets the HeyPungi team keep adding new titles, growing the catalogue without an engineering bottleneck.
